Senior Engineering for Real Systems
Senior engineers work directly with your team on computer vision, embedded software, and operational platforms. When a project needs more capacity, we bring in partners we have worked with for years.
How We Work
From computer vision pipelines to embedded Linux and backend services, we build the layers that make field systems usable.
We design for how sensors, timing, and interfaces actually behave in operation, not in the lab.
All infrastructure is self-hosted within the European Union, GDPR-compliant, with data processing agreements in place.
Founding & Leadership
Thomas Hamböck, MSc has worked on computer vision, embedded platforms, and real-time systems for over 15 years. His path runs from academic research and public-sector software to leading product development for mobility and industrial systems.
Hephario was founded on a simple observation: the hard part is rarely the demo. It is turning perception, data handling, and deployment into a system that works reliably in daily operation.
Partner Network
When a project grows, we don't bring in strangers. We turn to engineers we have known for years, some from university research, some from production work.
Freelance engineers we have worked with for years, some since university projects. Their domains: embedded, backend, cloud, and DevOps.
Specialized engineering firms we call on when a project needs scale, compliance experience, or domain knowledge beyond our core areas.
Every partner works under the same confidentiality and quality terms as the core team. Same processes, same transparency.
Selected Work
All projects are confidential. The descriptions are anonymized.
Computer-vision localization for mobile assets and vehicles in dynamic indoor environments using RGB-D sensing, calibration-aware spatial reasoning, and real-time perception.
Synchronized camera, IMU, and GNSS/RTK platform on Jetson and industrial PCs for recording, calibration, and downstream perception development.
Operator-facing and backend software for public-sector investigations, with computer vision for classification, detection, and review workflows.
